Founders and leaders of the Quebec-basedFurniture Academie du meuble inc, it was after fruitful exchanges and several meetings with Joel Philippin that they made the decision to create the Canadian subsidiary Art Montessori Canusmex Inc. .

The creation ofArt-Montessori-Canusmex Inc. is also based on the passion of its creators Danielle Huard and Jonathan Leduc for woodworking and all the know-how attached to it, but also for the profoundly ecological character and peaceful philosophy of Montessori pedagogy.

Art-Montessori is the origin of the story of a meeting between two passions: that of Sylvie d'Esclaibes for Montessori pedagogy and that of Joel Philippin for the art cabinetmaking. After founding together the Montessori Athénaschools, they decided to pool their expertise at the service of early childhood by developing the art-Montessori company and its Internet shop artmontessori.com.
