Library - Children

Made in Quebec, the children's books will be placed on the bookcase with their covers visible. Only ten books at a time are available for the child to consult independently. Some books can be changed according to the time of year or the season. This way, the child does not get bored and can reread the books he or she likes the most. 

From birth, the child must have access to books. This promotes the development of the senses, the ability to concentrate, brings him a lot of pleasure and lays the foundations for language. Infants are sensitive to books with black and white pictures. Gradually, colours are introduced, followed by sensory books with different textures, picture books, sound books as well as classic story books with pictures. The first books include only one picture per page, so that the infant can focus his attention.
