This mirror is very important: when the baby turns around on his stomach alone, he can straighten his head and see his image in the mirror. He can also crawl to the touch of his forehead, lick his own image and feel the cold.
It will be installed at ground level, along the mat and will delimit one side of the baby's awakening space. This will return the shapes and colours.

The mirror not only stimulates vision, it also allows the baby to become aware of the movements of the outside world and family members.
As his vision progresses, his field of vision widens and so does his understanding.

He will also try to touch his own image and discover his emotions for the first time.
He may also have a vision of what is happening around him and thus not be surprised by the silent arrival of an adult or by an event of which he only has auditory information.
The mirror also reflects the light, and thus adds more light to the baby's awakening space. Beware of the sun's rays that can dazzle the baby.
The so-called "brachiation" bar is fixed in front of the mirror. It should be adjusted to the average height of 47 cm (depending on the size and age of the baby). This bar will allow the baby to develop the muscles of his arms, his balance and, little by little, to exercise in the vertical position. As the child will drop out at first, a thick mat should be placed under the bar.
